Well I finally got the pictures off of Dane's camera, the other intern. All of these photos are of the demo combine that we have traveling with us.
We needed to fuel the combine up and the only place was a gas station down the road. So Dane and I took it down there and started pumping. In the last picture it shows both of the hose from the pump in the combine tank so that we could pump faster. We shut the pump down too because it only allowed $75 dollars at a time so we each used our card four times before it finally stopped. I am sitting on top of the combine running the nozzles.
This is me driving the combine down the road to take it to a farmer's house for a demo.
This is just the demo sitting in a parking lot before it had even been ran yet. It has a 40 ft head on the front of it.
This is when the demo was given to a guy to borrow while some stuff was fixed on his and this is what happened to it. In the first picture that is the customers combine still able to run. After we got the combine back we had to fix a bunch of stuff on it that had gotten bent. Luckily it was mostly just sheet metal and some guards, so they were easier to fix/replace. AS you can see from the pictures it was leaning pretty hard to the left which is where the unload auger is, because of the that the auger was only about 7 ft off the ground. They couldn't get anything underneath it to catch the wheat so they had to dump it on the ground.

I'm thinking that your combine was stuck a whole lot worse than ours! Was that you in the pic with the white T-shirt on? Was there just a big hole it fell into? Apparently still pretty wet out there. We're going to bale hay today at J Woods, it's going to be fun, 95 degrees and very humid. Oh, I'll be in the tractor! Love you, MOM
yeah, that looked really crazy, and we didn't understand how it got the wheel stuck so deep in like that?? Sterling is sleeping right now, but he'll be happy to see new pictures of combines when he wakes up. When is a good time to call you, we were wanting to do that sometime just to say hi. talk to you soon.
No that is not me in the picture of the combine stuck. Those three guys are the from the crew that got it stuck. They are trying to get the ladder off.

Kacie, the combine fell into a sink hole. That is how it got so stuck because you couldn't tell it was out there until you hit the hole. I don't really know a good time to call. I guess anytime and I will try to answer. I am on mountain time right now, so 2 hours behind Indiana.
