Here are pictures of the mini truck with a 4" lift and new wheels. Isn't it awesome. Enjoy!

Well, here it is....Jerry finally purchased a foreign truck! Somehow it makes us feel a little closer to Kacie & Luke. Jerry has a little difficulty remembering to shift on the left side instead of the right. He says "Dang it" everytime he messes up. He & Kara have been all over showing off the new purchase, almost everybody is jealous! Ted wants one now.

The first pic is Tony working hard! These next few pics are at the fall harvest party at church. First is Owen Huff as Batman. Ben is busy looking for animals in the straw.

Kayla's Trip Home
This is for Sterling. I took it when I was home last weekend, we thought Sterling would like to watch how Dad harvests all the corn :)
Here is Kara playing in her last volleyball game. She scored the last couple of points in both the games that her team won! We are all so proud! Way to go, lil sis!
If you notice, Dad is on his cell phone when we were supposed to be bonding, how typical :)
Luke's hereford...

Little Bit From Kyle
Well here are a few pictures I had on my camera that were taken lately. The first few are some more from apple picking. The others are of a few additions to my room we have made this year. I have been trying to post these for a little while but it kept messing up and then I would get busy.
Shana had my camera so we were able to get a picture of Dad, Mom and I. Then I think Mom had my camera and got a picture of Kara, Kaden, and me.
Here I am trying to explain to Kara what we are looking for in the tree. She didn't understand where the apples came from I guess. Not really, I am pointing out to her where the good apples were so she could get on my shoulders and pick them for us.
After I put Kara down we saw that she had a leaf in her hair so Mom wanted to take a picture and Kara of course decided to try and make the picture more dramatic.
Both of my roommates and I drink coffee daily and we all had our own coffee makers, so we began to talk about getting a big commercial one to save on space. I told Mom about our idea and a couple of days later she had one for us. We built this special shelf for it and put my smaller coffee maker on it just in case we only need a little. It has been put to good use already and we even have other guys come in and get some if they want. It was a great idea we had and thanks to Mom for getting it for us.
As you may remember I bought a set of horns 2 years ago and we finally figured out a place to put them this year. Obviously we put them over the door to our room and I think they look really cool up there. We are working on some other decorations for the room and if we get them done I will try to post them too. The last picture is one of the other guys, that lives in the house, a little mesmerized by the horns.

Taylor AIRBAND and Pick-A-Date
Thought since I had some time I would post some pics so you all could see what I've been up to in Upland! This is of my pretty good friends (L to R) Katelin, Jessi, Morgan, and Anna getting ready before Airband. We did the song "Mercy" by Duffy. In the pic we are all doing various poses from our dance...we had a lot of fun :)
This is a really bad pic of my friend Claire (on L), but every pic we take one or both of us just looks a little off! But anyways, this was before our Pick-A-Date. Melissa is the girl on the right, she is my next door neighbor! Both her and Claire are juniors.
This is my date Kyle and I with the pumpkin he carved. Notice I say he carved...I was not very good at the carving and he is a graphic design major, so I gutted the pumpkin and he carved it. I didn't know Kyle before this event, but thankfully it wasn't too awkward...

We went on our annual apple picking afternoon to Anderson Orchard last Sunday. So here are a few pics of that. The trees had been pretty well picked over, but we managed to find some apples up high that only Kara could reach with a little help.

I finally got the video to work. Now keep in mind this isn't the best play the girls made that day. Kara is number 5 and does a great job of setting it up for the spiker. I bet you can't guess what gym they are in, huh? Enjoy

This first picture is of Kara at a volleyball game. She looks pretty good for just finishing a game! I tried to load a video but doesn't seem to want to work, I will keep trying.
The next picture is Jerry & Kara sitting on the front porch right before it's getting ready to storm, Kara thought it would be neat to sit and watch it until she started getting wet. Spike was enjoying the fun as well.
While I was outside, i took a picture of the front side of the house. My flowers have done well this summer, so thought you would enjoy them as well. (except the green stuff on the dormer that was supposed to be cleaned off a while back and hasn't been done yet)

End of the Summer Out West
Well I am finally putting up the last of the pictures from the summer. Sorry it took so long but I got kind of busy with school starting. These pictures are from the last stop for Harvest Support in Minot, North Dakota and the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa.
We had to take a trip down into South Dakota to see a customer who had a huge job there. He has eight machines and had all of them working in this area. The first picture is of a combine unloading into a grain cart and the cart unloading into a semi. The second is of all the machines running in one field with two grain carts and two of the many semi's that were moving in and out of the field continuously. The last picture is of all the machines but one stopped for lunch. The one missing stopped early for lunch so he was already back out cutting.
This is what is called a North Dakota dinosaur. There is all kinds of old machines parked in pastures just sitting there. Farmers park them on top of hills along the roads for people to see I guess. It was pretty cool to see these antiques just sitting out in the open all alone where they used to run.
A few of the farmers and the dealership in Minot say that the New Holland combines look like bees so a few of them put stickers on the side of a bee like this one. They told me there is another combine that has the same type of bee with a Deer being stung on it. I didn't get to see it though.
These are a few pictures of the New Holland lot at the Farm Progress Show. The first one is the 9080 which is the largest combine in North America with 523 HP. It is only the largest in North America because New Holland has one in Europe, the 9090, which is the largest in the world with 620 HP. During the show I stood next to the 9080 and talked to people about the combine and the stuff I did over the summer. It was a lot of fun to meet all the people. They usually would talk to me more too since I was not really working for New Holland full time and had an honest opinion about the combines with experience to back it up.
